East Valley Wings + Grill is a casual dining restaurant known for its wide variety of wings, house-made sauces, and family-friendly atmosphere.

The Challenge

The previous East Valley Wings website suffered from inconsistent branding and a cluttered user experience. The menu structure was difficult to navigate, and users struggled to find specific flavors or customize orders without confusion.

Additionally, the site’s visual identity didn’t reflect the energy or personality of the brand — falling short of conveying the excitement of bold flavors, sports-bar culture, and community-driven dining. The challenge was to design a digital platform that unified the brand visually while simplifying the ordering process and making flavor discovery fun and interactive.

The Approach

I reimagined the experience around storytelling and usability — merging the brand’s lively personality with a streamlined digital flow. The visual system leaned into warm, rich tones and textured food photography to evoke heat, flavor, and freshness. Interactive elements like the Flavor Heat Index Slider and Explore Our 50+ Wing Flavors guided users through the menu in an engaging, game-like way — allowing them to explore sauces by spice level or create custom combinations that felt uniquely theirs.

From a product perspective, I focused on responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly across desktop and mobile, ensuring the same energy and clarity whether browsing or ordering on-the-go. The UI was built modularly for scalability, allowing the brand to update new sauces, promotions, and seasonal offers without breaking consistency.
